The Attitude of Victory

No matter what your circumstances in life, you have a choice in how you are going to react towards it. You can either be fearful or faithful. Fear reduces you to a victim status and faith in our Lord, makes you victorious. No matter what happens in our lives, our LORD is fully in charge and He is always by His people.

Attitude meaning: a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person's behavior.

So we know what attitude a Christian is to carry, now let us understand what faith literally means.

Faith meaning: complete trust or confidence in someone or something.

Put the two powerful words together — Those who have FAITH have a victor’s ATTITUDE.

Whether it’s the changing economy, difficult relationships, or a life-changing accident or illness, or pandemics, we possess the strongest mechanism there is to create a breakthrough: the power of attitude.

We choose how we react, what we think about, and what we become — no matter what our surroundings or circumstances. We also choose how we want others to perceive us, acting and speaking accordingly.

Below is the excerpt of description from John Gill’s Exposition of this verse:

“For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you..,”

To battle, and therefore they had no reason to fear and be dismayed, to be fainthearted, terrified, and tremble:

“...fear not, I am with thee”

( Isaiah 41:10 ) , this, according to the Misnah F6, respects the ark, and so Jarchi, which was a symbol of the divine Presence, and went with them to battle; see ( Joshua 6:4 ) ( 1 Samuel 4:3-5 )

“...to fight for you against your enemies, to save you;”

to annoy and destroy the one, and to protect and save the other; thus far the anointed priest addressed the people in an oration to this purpose: the account Maimonides gives of it is, that

``when they have set their ranks, and are near to a battle, the anointed of war stands on an high place, and all the ranks before him, and says to them in the holy tongue, "hear, O Israel" unto to save you; and then another priest under him causes it to be heard by all the people with an high voice F7;''

he repeated what the anointed of war had said, and expressed it with a loud voice, that all might hear.

PLEASE PRAY WITH ME: Dear God, cleanse me from anything that is blocking me from walking in victory. Fill me with peace and joy. Renew my strength so that I can sow like an eagle. May I run and not grow weary, may I walk in your ways and not fall. Help me to handle the challenges of life with boldness because I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. Keep my lamp burning and turn my darkness into light. Lord, your ways are perfect, and your word is flawless. I love and adore you. In Jesus’ name, I believe and pray, AMEN.

GOD BLESS YOU.
