VERSE: “Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.” - Jeremiah 33:6.
Truth is the key that unlocks the door of mental and emotional bondage. Jesus said, “When the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth.” (John 16:13) We can totally trust Him to light our path and guide our steps through life as a faithful Shepherd.
Knowing that we are being guided each day by our gentle Shepherd who never leaves us along the way, and lets no other shepherd take us – we can walk each day in perfect peace and sleep each night, no matter how dark or stormy, in undisturbed composure – because our faithful Shepherd lays Himself across the door of the sheepfold where His flock abides – so no intruder may enter to disturb our rest.
The Bible says, “You (God) will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is fixed on you: because he trusts in you.” (Isaiah 26:3)
This is what the world is searching so frantically for in tranquilizers, alcohol, mind altering drugs, sexual promiscuity, constant seeking for pleasure – anything to escape their troubled mind – and we have the answer. The world will try anything, except God.
Will you PRAY WITH ME?
“Holy Father, I praise you for your patience with me. You have shown me the TRUTH and the WAY through your Son, Yeshua, my Shepherd. I have strayed away from the only thing that brings peace, and that is Your TRUTH, Abba. Please help me guard my mind and my heart from the untruths of this world and have the courage to speak nothing but the truth, so that my words may bring YOUR peace to those around me. In the blessed name of Jesus, I pray. AMEN.
